Social Media is a brilliant way for real estate agents to share their expertise, start conversations and build ongoing relationships with sellers, investors and buyers that will eventually turn into leads and help grow their business. Often agents will boost or promote their content on social media to grow their following and engage with local sellers and buyers but you can also leverage your website to help grow your following as well.

When someone visits your real estate website they may not contact you immediately or take any action (such as sign up to your newsletter) which allows you to proactively contact them and build a relationship. Having engaging social media content easily visible and that can be interacted with is a great way to build your social media following and allow you to keep your brand and message in front of potential leads.

Most websites have links to their social media accounts but you can now embed your social media feeds directly onto your website so anyone who visits your website can see a live feed of your most recent posts. This means if you have interesting and relevant content then website visitors can easily follow you from within the feed and then all of your future content will be displayed to them when they are browsing their social media apps which will keep your brand front of mind until they require the services of a real estate agent.

Often when a third party feed (such as a social media account) is placed on your website it won’t match the look, feel and branding of your existing website which can be detrimental to the brand you are trying to portray with your real estate website. You can now have these feeds branded to match your colour and style guide so the embedded posts still look like a natural part of the design of your website while still gaining the benefit of having your social media content easily viewable to everyone who visits your website.
