Where do I find real estate content for my website?

As a real estate agent, the best source of content for your website is found in the questions you are asked on a weekly basis from your customers and people you interact with.

People look to you for knowledge and advice and you want to establish yourself as a valuable  resource for them before they are ready to become a client or vendor. These could be questions around purchasing property or questions around selling property. Add value to your brand by writing unique content on the things you know best.  Most likely you are in contact with more property seekers than property sellers so most of the questions will be around the buying process. Some examples could be:

  1. How do you bid at Auction?
  2. How long is the cooling-off period?
  3. Can I pay cash for my deposit?
  4. Should I get a pest and building inspection?

The questions you are asked here are from an audience at the top of your sales funnel. This means they’re probably not ready to sell real estate right now but they are interested in researching or buying it. This provides you with an opportunity to capture their attention, establish yourself as an expert, and deliver them content the they’re looking for now.

Create a strategy for yourself and/ or other agents in your agency to gather the questions you get asked on a weekly basis. Then spend time writing the answers and add them to your website. If you create 5 questions and answers each week for 10 weeks you’ll have 50 pages of real estate related content on your website. This is great for search engine optimisation and establishing yourself as an industry expert to your subscribers and future clients.
