Real Direct are a real estate agency who do things a little differently than your normal real estate agency. They therefore needed a real estate web designer who could explain their different offering through their website. We were required to take one of our standard WordPress real estate themes and adjust the homepage layout along with create specific HTML for other pages illustrating their services and products.
The WordPress 3.0 Beta came out today. From their blog:
This is an early beta. This means there are a few things we’re still finishing. We wanted to get people testing it this weekend, so we’re releasing it now rather than waiting another week until everything is finalized and polished. There’s a ton of stuff going on in 3.0, so this time we’re giving you a list of things to check out, so that we can make sure people are testing all the things that need it.
Can’t wait to look into it, especially given it is merging wp with wpmu through a super admin dashboard. This will make deploying real estate solutions for franchises with numerous offices a breeze to manage.

In conjunction with Fairfax Digital Agentpoint built Colliers International a website for their latest portfolio ‘Clever Investments” showcasing a number of commercial properties Colliers have available for sale.
We developed a cool property cookie widget which remembers the properties a user last viewed and displays them on the homepage next time they return to the website. We also build a pdf table widget which displays the search results or favourite listings in a pdf table which can easily be printed or emailed.
The project was delivered in less that 2 weeks and showcases how Agentpoint can streamline the development process as a result of years of real estate development experience.

The client had recently upgraded their website but now required a blog to take advantage of Web 2.0 and in particular Social Networking.
We built a blog and attached it to the Market News section of their existing website making sure it is identical to the original site. Users can jump between sites and have know idea they are ever leaving the original real estate website.
The blog synchronises with Twitter creating tweets for every post created and utlisizes the other search engine friendly WordPress features including tags, categories and meta tag creation.
Over the past 8 weeks our developers have been absolutely flat chat working on some fantastic WordPress applications for the real estate industry. Some are client based and others are joint ventures we are involved. I can’t say too much but two of these projects should be complete within 4 weeks and another in about 6 weeks, all of them are designed to increase an agent’s web presence and are unique in the industry. Express Realty are a real estate agency located in the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney. They wanted to keep their current website but have it hosted through Agentpoint and use our real estate listing software Agentlog to display listings on their website and also 3rd party real estate portals.
Our designer was able to create a website which was exactly the same as the client’s previous website but which is powered by WordPress and a number of plugins we have built.
