As facebook becomes more popular and accepted means there is increased pressure on real estate agents to understand and engage with it. If complete incorrectly you can spend hours on hours attempting to master the craft of facebook and end up with no results.

Agentpoint Facebook Applications – There are 8 applications which can be placed on your agency’s facebook business page. Each app added to your business page will create a tab at the top of the page. You then have the ability to hide tabs or rearrange them as needed. Facebook business pages are very important as you will market these on your website, they’re also frequently visited by facebook users including property seekers and potential vendors.
The apps for your business page are:
- Welcome Tab – Branded page which can display a company video, main image, corporate profile, contact details and links to your other apps.
- Properties Tab – Displays your agency’s current listings
- Team Tab – Displays your staff team members including each members contact details, profile, current listings, sold listings, testimonials and videos.
- Opens Tab – Displays the open times for properties with inspections along with the auction times and places.
- Specials Tab – If you have a special or competition running and would like users to Like your page then you may promote them on this tab.
- Finance Tab – If you offer mortgage or finance options then we can display these options here
- Videos Tab – Displays all of your property videos
- Sold Tab – Displays all of your sold listings.
- Post to Wall – We also use another application to automatically import news posts from your agency website which will populate the Wall tab on your business page.
If you do not already have a facebook business page then included in our setup fee we will create this for you and place a link to it from your website. We can also adjust the apps so it is compulsory for users to Like the page before they see any content or instead of full property, team or other details displaying in facebook we can direct the user back to the content on your website

Easy Data Integration – Your properties are seamlessly integrated into your facebook business page through XML data feeds from your existing CMS provider. Meaning you never need to double handle listings as when you load them to your existing provider they will automatically be sent to your facebook business page. We currently accept properties from MyDesktop, Hub Online, ReNet, Multi Array, Rockend (REST), MyPackage, Box + Dice (BOOM) and Zoo Property (and we’re happy to hook up with any other providers). Check out the 3rd party systems we currently partner with.
Enagage facebook users – We can set the apps so only the content can be viewed after the user has Liked your page. This mans they will be updated about content you post on facebook and it also means their friends can see this content and that they like you page.
Capture User Contact Details – All our facebook applications are configured with facebook web forms which users fill in to contact you. You will never miss an enquiry again as all the data submitted through forms are emailed directly to the agent along with being saved in your facebook application website database. The details of users who complete these forms are saved to a Contacts section which can then be remitted back into the CRM system you currently use.
Monitor Facebook Page Browsers – Keep track of the number of users who browse your facebook business page. We can install analytics to measure the number of page views they each receive along with the number of page views for each property. We can also monitor the number of enquiries for each agent and property and populate it into a weekly report which can be emailed to staff members.
